Hello Westshore Members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a final reminder that your Annual Paperwork and Camp Dues need to be completed and received by the April 30th deadline, which is this coming Wednesday. In addition, all camps are required to be cleaned, including leaves raked and burned or hauled out, to ensure you have no delay in receiving the gate and garbage dumpster combos prior to the Memorial Day holiday weekend.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had an amazing turnout for our April 12th and 13th workdays. Leaves and debris were raked and burned in common areas throughout the campground, and down trees were cut, split and cleared in several locations. Major maintenance and repairs were completed at our spring, as a slide and down tree were cleared by several camp members. Our water supply has been restored, and the campground is really looking good ahead of summer. We\u2019d like to thank all those who came out and participated for your hard work! Additionally, we wish to thank Jeff and Deanna Windle for providing delicious lunches for everyone on both days. It was a fun, and very productive weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon you will be receiving an email requesting RSVPs for our two May workdays, which are scheduled for Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18. Please respond to that email with your RSVP and the number of people attending. This makes it so much easier on those preparing lunch and for the Board to plan projects. Though our May workdays prioritize dock maintenance, there will be plenty of other necessary projects to prepare Westshore for the summer camping season. We have a volunteer to host lunch on Saturday, so if anyone would be interested in hosting the Sunday lunch, please let us know. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One final note: we\u2019d like to advise everyone that on Tuesday evening, April 22nd, our Caretaker spotted a mountain lion and her two cubs just above camp. Please be alert as they may still be in the area!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
